http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8694

I have the same problem as this guy.

Well when i use my global ip and then add port 80 at the end, it will just refresh itself, like in a big loop.

Port forwarding is No Use. Never has been for me, I have just managed to allow eMule UDP port to work. It hadn't been working for ages until last night on belkin when I changed the DMZ feature. I have now also tried changing this, With my ports from my local IP to my worldwide IP, and still nothing.

I've just tried setting the ports on Belkin for abyss, for my IP as well as my local IP, and its still not working, I've changed the ports and such.

PS - i know how to allow/disallow ports on both belkin and windows firewall. However I do not know much more about networking.

Cheers for any response..

First of all, disable all your firewalls while trying to get it on the web. Second, you WILL need to port forward. Without it you have no hope.

www.portforward.com will help you find out how to do it.

If port 80 doesnt work, try another port such as 2786 or another random port number.

Get someone else to try for you. If your router/modem doesnt support loop-back you wont be able to test access to your site yourself.

I can already open my ports and forward stuff on, I have already done it for eMule and also changed port numbers to test.

I Can access the index.htm through localhost/127.0.0.1 And view it,

However The problem is simply, Other people cannot view the page, from other computers on the Internet, Other computers on my network can access it fine. By simply entering my network number.

Make sure your ISP doesnt block port 80 by trying another random port.

Also check your IP is correct at www.abyssunderground.co.uk/ip

If it doesnt support loop-back then no. Check to see if there is a firmware update for your router that makes it so it does.
