How many occurences of php-cgi should be in task manager? Running abyss and mysql as a service. As soon as I start up the comp and access the site it bounces up to 5-6 occurences of php-cgi. This cant be normal is it?

It is normal. It all depends on how much traffic your site gets. The more traffic there is the more php.exe's will open.

Each php.exe supports one user. If more than one user needs a page at the same time, another php.exe will open. So, if you have 5, it means 5 people requested a page at exactly the same time.

Like I said on earlier chats, either phpGD isnt working or the code simply isnt working. Do you get any errors? The sig was designed for php4.

maybe thats why. I missed the part about it required php 4. Im running php 5 at the moment so maybe thats why. But gd is enabled. You can see here

http://www.disluvs4you.com/test.php

But I was supposed to rename the extension sig to php right? And am I supposed to use the link to the php file or the gif or jpg image?

If you want to use it in forums the easiest was is to rename it .jpeg (note the "e") and make .jpeg run as a php file. Then just link as a normal image to the forum.

It was designed for php4 but should work on php5. Check if GD is enabled with another GD script that you know works. Just going by the phpinfo() isnt enough.
