ok, i had my website running with http://209.121.44.92
but, now that i got a domain name, i need alittle help.
heres the setup
ok, at zoneedit.com, i have my domain names there, and you have to put in an ip address, so i put in my routers WAN ip which is 209.121.44.92. (and i did go to the domain name people and give them my nameserver thing)
from there, when you type in www.officialbass.com, it should go my my routers ip, which it does(my router is a d-link 604). My router re-directs it through port 80, to my computer 192.168.0.104,which i have the port allowed as a TCP. I did the same port allowing for my abyss server, 192.168.0.104, port9999, TCP.
Now, it should work, but it doesn't for some reason it doesn't. Is there a setting that has to be different? Did i miss something? should my abyss port be 80, or my website?
www.officialbass.com (just see if it works, it wont, i need help, thanks) |

Do you have any firewalls on your system or network? |

This is what I got when I went to http://209.121.44.92:9999 Quote: | Error 403
Forbidden

© Aprelium Technologies - 2001-2005 | This is a good thing. It means your server is working, but wouldn't let me in to your console.
But, when I try to go to http://209.121.44.92, I only get a timed out message.
According to a quick port scan of your IP, port 9999 is open, but not port 80.
Recheck your router's port-forward settings. |

ok, i check, it seemed to be fine, it was set up like this
Enabled
Name:Abyss port#1
Privite Ip:192.168.0.104
Protocol Type:Both (of TCP uDP)
Pritive Ip:80
Public:80
Schedual:always
i think that it might because my isp found out that im using port 80, and blocked it, is there a way to unblock it? or is there a way to use port 80, but have the traffic to be redirected somewhere else? |

ok, i think i figured out my question.
on my router, where i allow my ports, it askes for
privite prt:80
public port:80
and i think that if i change the privite port to 1991, and my website to 1991 in abyss, when people go to my website, it asks for port 80, but gets redirected to port 1991, am i right?
www.officialbass.com
tell me if it works |

ok, i believe that my ISP is blocking port 80, so im using port 81, and sence i cant get my 209.121.44.92 without the :81 at the end, zoneedit wont allow it, so i just made the www.officialbass.com forward to 209.121.44.92:81 which will work out fine, thanks everyone |
