hey guys.. this has been bugging me for a long time now. when ever i try to import a database using myphpadmin. i get a time out error 500 from abyss server console...


any ideas??

any ideas??



You mean the phpmyadmin console not abyss. Try checking your php.ini and seeing if post max size is set lower than the database you are uploading. If so this could be the cause.

This should solve the problem. You can change these settings to your
liking if you want, but these are the settings that im currently using....

My php.ini recommended settings.

Quote:
max_execution_time = 300
max_input_time = 300
post_max_size = 10M
upload_max_filesize = 10M


Also make sure that Abyss Web Server's CGI Timeout is set to the
same value as your php.ini for "max_execution_time".

It is on the scripting paramaters page.
