Ok, I wasn't sure where to put this but I suppose here will do. I currently dual-boot Windows & Linux (Windows2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP Home, Linux SuSE7.3 Pro and finally Linux Lycoris Desktop/LX Build#66) And was wondering, are there any major differences in functionality between the Windows & Linux Version, I'm slowly dropping Windows and moving across to Linux and a webserver would be a crucial component to the OS.

Aprelium: Is the linux version distributed tared and as RPM's ? and have they been tested on SuSE ?

There are no differences between the two versions. We did all our best to keep them close. Of course, the Linux version respects the Linux philosphy and integrates well with that environment.
It is distributed as a tar gzipped archive to make its deployment easy and compatible with all Linux flavors. You can run it with any Linux system that supports GLIBC 2, that means with almost all the Linuxes released since 2000.

There are no differences between the two beta versions. That's why we are only testing one. The Linux version will be released when the final Window's will be available. This should happen soon (in a few days, as soon as we check the latest testers' reports.)

As a general rule, you can use:
Code:

httpd stop

to stop Apache.
