How to use asp in abyss web sever... :?:
I saw "http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/asp.html"...
Also download ahtml...
And do that all same...
But also can't work...
Can someone help me, tell me ho to let asp work... :cry:
I am taiwanees,English is not good enough....

You forgot to add / in the CGI Paths table.

This error pop out once i setup my ASP by using AHTML therefore i think it's probably my ASP's setting which make my server down... so hope you guys can take a look and give me somegood advices and soluitons

About the secund problem... :?
when I get off all asp(ahtml) setting , It can work...
But that asp questing is also no resolvent... :cry:
Please Help If you want know all my setting ,tell me I will show all....

HEY GUYS
I have followed all the steps that on the WEB PAGES
and it can really run ASP
But always feel like there is something missing
something like the basic ASP code (as following).... can't really show it on the webpage, all it show it's just a blank page

I had the same issue... Though everything (Abyss Setup was Correct) AHTML registry entries .dlls seemed to have corrupted on my system partition...
I left AHTML installed where it is was and simply installed over it... You can try that and try accessin pages directly...
Instead of
http://0.0.0.0/asp
try
http://0.0.0.0/asp/index.asp or index.asa or index.asx
Make sure your aliases are correct...
Make sure your index files are correct...
Find out what your script is trying to call... Is it trying to call index.asp or default.asp?
It is possible your script can also relie on default.asx or default.asa
Try connecting directly to a page... Worst comes to worst back up and reinstall "on top" of the previous installation... Simply follow the setup instructions to the letter...

I tried and it is the same results... Maybe your ASP is working but the scripts lack a function or something... In other words maybe you're looking into solving the wrong thing and trying to fix what is not broken...
I believe but am not sure... If ASP did not work at all you should see a blank page with nothing in the source... Somethings working...
I hope you get it up :)

Are there anyone who is in charge of this page can help me solving my problem.....
Or is it abyss or AHTML 's bug which makes my ASP not function properly..
Is there anyone of this company or any other people can produce me the following information which can make my ASP funtion properly....
ie. hardware requirement, operating System, Abyss server's detail setup(Folders and sub-folders' location...), asp function kernel , and anything other that might cause the problem

Gigen,
AHTML is just a CGI interpreter like hundreds out there. Abyss Web Server works correctly with all of them but it cannot be held responsible for bugs or misbehaviors of these interpreters.
Many people reported problems using AHTML in general (with Abyss Web Server and with other servers.) SeliSoft, the publisher of AHTML, should be contacted and informed of that problems.
