Hekko:

I have a web application (targeted for .NET 4.5) that currently runs on our server under Windows Server and IIS 7.

Customers have asked about installing and running the web application on their local machines disconnected from the Internet. This requires a local web server. Rather than activating IIS 7 by remote control on every new customer, we would like to include a Personal Web Server with our distribution.

Abyss PWS seems to be a good candidate for this. Can I include it in an install package built with InstallShield or InsatllShield Express?

The target machines would be Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1. The idea would be to include Abyss as an installable component

Thanks,
Gerry Kopelman

xrunner,

Yes this is possible. Several software companies are already packaging Abyss Web Server with their ASP.NET applications to make their users' life easier (no need to setup IIS or configure it.)

Please get in touch with our technical support by email for more information about our software bundling licenses.
