Did you solve this question already? If not I have only some suggestions...

1. enable port 80 on your firewall... port 80 is your default web server port...
1a. If you enable port 80 in your firewall but still cannot access it your ISP may be blocking port 80... The work around is simple... Enable another port in Abyss console to be the server port 8000, 9000, 10000, etc Now in your firewall make sure to *also* enable that port to be opened...

If you still cannot access your server make sure it is on (see the tray icon) and find out quickly if your OS (like XP) has an internal firewall also... See if your internal firewall is on... If it is then enable traffic to flow on your new web port 8000, 9000, 10000, etc...

Also besides your router and internal firewall if any do you have a software based firewall like zonealarm, sygate or tiny personal firewall? If you do you will have to enable the web port you designate...

Make sure you're not behind a network address...

http://127.0.0.1/
http://localhost/
http://192.168.0.0/ all the way up to http://255.255.255.255/

All of the above addresses are only accessible on your local machine and only across your network... Not to the rest of the globe...

If someone was to input any of the above addresses into thiers browsers address field the search for that address will take pleace on their machine only...

Good luck :)

if using a router, you will also have to set up port redirection,so that all port 80 access attempts to ure router are forwarded to the correct pc.
