IP displaying

I was wondering... your site has a "Your IP" thing... how did you make that?

In cgi form its:
$ENV{'REMOTE_ADDR'}

AND IN PHP ITS:
$IP = getenv("REMOTE_ADDR");

ALSO IN SSI (.shtml) its:
<!--#echo var="REMOTE_ADDR" -->
