CHMODing files !

I'm installing a script and it says I have to CHMOD the ".cgi" files to 755. How do I do that on the aprelium web server ????

PLEASE HELP !!!!!

If you're on Windows you never chmod anything but if your on a *nix system such as unix or linux you chmod...

Are you on Windows? Does the script you're tyring to install have documentation? Does the friend who sent you the script have it installed? Did you ask your friend if he can help you out?

My suggestion is to look into the documentation that came along with the script otherwise find another similar script that comes with documentation OR ask your questions on the scripts forums too if they have one.

Outsource your resources and then tell us as much as possible about your setup, resources related to the script (their homepage, etc) and everything you tried to make it work... I am sure if someone works with the script they'll most likely respond to you then.
