I have Perl, PHP and MySQL installed, and they're all working fine. I want to install MT [http://movabletype.org] but after I've loaded the database and I go to login, all I get is a page refresh.

I was just wondering... is this an Abyss problem?! Cause I can't find anything wrong in the MT source and it is really getting me down. hehe.

Anyone have any ideas?

I don't see how this would make a differance as MT is a CGI/Perl script, but yes, I have.

Have you configured it correctly? In general, Perl scripts run as a charm with Abyss Web Server. We'll give it a try and we will tell you if there is a problem.

thanks, aprelium, that'd be great. Someone over at the MT forums recommended reinstalling the Apcahe:Cookie perl module, so I'm doing that too. :)

We downloaded MT. Installed it following the steps in their documentation carefully. Of course, we configured Abyss Web Server in order to consider MT directory as a CGI Path and mapped .cgi with Perl.
Everything went OK and we enjoyed MT. In some cases, MT will complain about some missing Perl modules so you should install them. Otherwise, no problem was encoutred.
So our advise is to follow the installation instructions of MT carefully.

This may be a browser issue. Check cookies and if you still have problems, contact MT guys. They can help you.
