http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/index.html says that Abyss Web server offers "Partial downloads support". What exactly do you mean by "Partial"? |

That means that when you host files using Abyss Web Server, download programs can stop, pause, and restart downloading a file at any position. Some other servers do not offer that feature: download managers needs to restart from zero a download each time they stop it. _________________ Support Team

If I placed a .zip file into my htdocs, and then made a link to it on my site (http://my_ip/file.zip) would my friends be able to download it?? |

yes they would be able to access your file as long as you aren't behind a firewall that blocks them. |
