| well i can set it up but i dont know how to use it... and i cant figure out how to use it with phpbb, it keeps saying *cannot connect to smpto host* |

Well this post would be better on the forums at www.hmailserver.com but eh..w/e
What are you using for the SMTP server?
Is it setup correctly in your php.ini?
Do you have it setup where it requires SMTP auth?
Are you running any other mail servers?
Run the hmailserver admin, and check to see if its running. (It installs a shortcut to the start menu).
