Thanks Abyss, just got my server up and running, sweetness :)
But here's my question, what's http://127.0.0.1? I was assuming it was the URL address for the internet user to access my webpage, but I guess it's not. I typed my IP address in the browser URL bar, but I'm getting "page cannot be displayed". I'm not sure if I'm missing something here. Pardon my for ignorance, but I'd be glad to learn.

127.0.0.1 is localhost for the server. The public url for everyone is your IP :D

thanks for the input ^^
however my IP address, as I stated from my 1st post, is showing "page cannot be displayed in the browser using other's machine. In my local machine, if I type http://<my IP address>, a Network Log-in/Password page will show up in the browser.

Search the forum for loopback, or read the main sticky topic in the networking section.

Go Here: http://www.aprelium.com/ip

This is your real IP address! This is what people use to connect to your computer/webserver over the Internet!

Remember, you could have looked in Abyss's documentation, Aprelium website or searched the forums to get this information!

If you are using a router you need to enable all the ports http://www.portforward.com/alcatel/st510v42-portforwarding.htm abyss is on port 80 unless you have changed it. I'm not too sure if that is your router but check the site out http://www.portforward.com/

Thanks for the nice handy link, I now figured out what's wrong. I'm continuing this thread in Networking Issue http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=37394#37394 since it appears that I'm on the wrong section.
