Coldfusion is nothing to do with the web server. Once you have the right scripts you should be able to access your databases.

HIWD.

The new version of Abyss Web Server should support Coldfusion MX thanks to its new ISAPI support. We haven't yet written a tutorial about that but please contact support@aprelium.com and we'll send it to you as soon as it will be ready.

Maybe someone can assist.

I discovered that IIS is using ISAPI support for coldfusion and uses this file:
\CFusionMX7\runtime\lib\wsconfig\jrunwin32.dll

This is apparently the ISAPI dll, however when I install it in Abyss X1 as an ISAPI interpreter (with associated extentions: jsp jws cfm cfml cfc) then try to run a cfm file I get the following error:

Error 500
Internal Server Error

I know the file path is correct (the whole path includes the drive letter; but I omitted it from this forum in the path above).

The Abyss ISAPI log shows this (drive letter omitted):
Module: None URI: /CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm Request #1 Cannot load \CFusionMX7\runtime\lib\wsconfig\jrunwin32.dll: The specified procedure could not be found.

I thought that would work, I was so hopefull. I am trying to get ColdFusion to work in Abyss.

Maybe this will help a little. It allows you to execute .cfm scripts:

Here is the link: http://www.ignitefusion.com/default.htm

Here is the tutorial:

In case anyone has trouble, here's the settings I have in the Abyss console to get Ignitefusion to display the sample cold fusion ( .cfm ) web page....

1) Server parameters - Index files
Added entry for index.cfm

2) CGI-Parameters - CGI Interpeters
Added entry for folder where ignitefusion was unzipped, in my case
I have it as e:\ignite\ignitedb.exe with associated extension
of cfm

3) CGI Path
Added entry of /*.cfm

With these setting I was able to bring up the provided sample coldfusion (.cfm) webpage in IE without any problems.

The above information is not mine. I found it by searching the forum. Here is the link for the search I peformed: http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6465&highlight=coldfusion+abyss+web+server

Hope this helps!
