An Aliases is a Virtual Folder that Abyss Web Server maps to.
Example: Alias /images
Virtual Path: /images
Real Path: C:\Files\Images
Note: Please read the documentation because I don't think you understand
how to use Abyss Web Server completely yet , it takes time to learn stuff. :) |

You have a good point their but with Aliases , your not required to have the
folder in your htdocs , you can use a folder outside of the web root. Later! |

basically theres no need to put stuff in the htdocs..Its saves time.. And it could also be safer because it doesnt show up in the index of/ _________________

Yes it does save time but not everyone has stuff they want to share in their
htdocs so they point it to different folders on their drive , the index listing
will always be here , even with the Aliases feature , Have A Nice Day... |
