You will have to find out your IP address, look at the aprelium home page. Also if you use a firewall, you will need to open port 82, for incoming and outgoing traffic.

Please provide your topology. Give us a description of your setup. Do you have firewall as HIWD assuming you have?

Do you have router / gateway or anything in between of that Abyss PC?

you need an external reference like www.dyndns.org but you may find people pointing you to no-ip.com, whilst for allot of people it is ok, it is not a very good tracking service because it takes too long to update the DNS name with your current IP, dyndns is instant and it also reliably detects your IP address even from behind a router....

From your reply regarding port 80 or 82, I assumed you mean Abyss listening port for incoming request.

For Abyss of which port to listen to -
http://www.aprelium.com/data/abyssws-x1-win-doc-html/servergeneral.html
Default should be on PORT 80. You can change to whatever port you want.

Next thing you need to worry about is from your router. Depending how you setup your router, you may need to check if PORT 80 is allowing in or forwarding to your LAN IP of where Abyss is sitting on.

Generally two thing to check -
Abyss PORT
Router

You indicate you do not have firewall of anything kind, so you have one less hoop to jump over.

That the big problem with everyone that having this problem but not stating what equipement that are involved.

98% user just simply indicate they have problem but not discribe and state the specific. Most user will assumed we all have ESP or can see their setup from remtely without any of those detail. 8)

Back to the topic - He did not indicate if he have a router or not involved.

If I understand correctly. Abyss is set and listen to PORT 82 of your current PC since it on 127.0.0.1:82. From you next info post, you stated detect this 80.202.227.242 from your same PC. Assuming you have a router, you will need to access it and forward to Abyss IP 80.202.227.242 and it port 82. From the look of this IP, it a WAN IP that your ISP provided [assumed static IP].

Looking for the following info:
1 - Abyss LAN IP - Type from Windows DOS - "ipconfig all" without qutoe. Look at the line indicate IP
2 - Do you have a router? If so, can you provide the make / brand / model etc?
3 - Assumed you have router, can you access it?
4 - Do you really need to have Abyss set to port 82? Is threre a reason for this? Webserver and webclient normally check in at 80.

I am sorry..... either I need to have each of my eye balls check or my eye glass check or get a eye glasses..... I do not seem to find any description of your router as you meantion / stated "....router above....". Can you run by me what wireless router you have again? I seem to miss that part.

Can you accees that router?
Common home type router normally called "PortForwarding" or "Virtural Server". Check what your Abyss LAN IP it set on with the help of "IPCONFIG /ALL" without quote. Enter the last digit to your router where Port Forwarding / Virtural Server.

Imaging your result of IPCONFIG /ALL indicated on IP line as 192.168.1.101. Enter 101 and enter 82 or 80 etc for the port that you set on Abyss. Both the router and Abyss should be set to the same PORT.
