|
|
Sorry about the silly question, but I'm getting mad abou it.
have problems with paths.
I'v set the path for custom errors, but doesn't work, i do have problems with PHP too, I supose that must be the same problem about paths.
I use XP home edition.
The path i set for default errors is "/error/error.htm"
for the PHP "C:\Archivos de programa\PHP\php-cgi.exe"
for the ASP "C:\Archivos de programa\ActiveHTML\ahtml.exe" it gives me a "Bad path" message when I try to use it at "Aliases/realpath"
Don't know where is the problem, please help!! _________________ Easy is better |

I see that your not using the location header so thats not the problem , I think what you're
seeing is the default Internet Explorer 404 error , you can choose to disable this error under
advanced in Internet Options and then your normal custom error will show , other web browsers
will just show the custom error because they don't ignore the custom errors from websites.
Example: Open Internet Options click on Advanced Tab and
uncheck "Show HTTP Friendly Error messages" problem solved. |

Thank you, but that's not the problem, it doesn't accept the path, by the way PHP is working fine now, still having the problem with the path.
for the ASP "C:\Archivos de programa\ActiveHTML\ahtml.exe" it gives me a "Bad path" message when I try to use it at "Aliases/realpath"
&
I'v set the path for custom errors, but doesn't work. _________________ Easy is better |

I see where you went wrong with , don't setup an aliases like that , you
only setup Aliases like that if its in your Abyss Web Server folder , you
have to use the real actual path to setup an aliases for ASP :)
Example:
Virtual Path: /ahtml
Real Path: C:\Archivos de programa\ActiveHTML\ahtml.exe
Lets say ActiveHTML is installed to the Abyss Web Server
program folder , then you could use a path like that.
Example:
Virtual Path: /ahtml
Real Path: ActiveHTML/ahtml |

Thank you very much for your interest.
I was writing: "C:\Archivos de programa\ActiveHTML\ahtml.exe" at HOME>SERVER CONFIGURATION>ADVANCED>ALIASES>ADD/EDIT ALIAS.
It accept when I type: "ActiveHTML\AHTML" without the "\ahtml.exe" but my ASP still don't work.
I'm going a be out for a week. I'll try to find help with a friend hi is a good ASP programmer, If you have any ideas please post, thank you again for your kindness. _________________ Easy is better |

Just a question, if you don't mind.
Are you a member of the Abyss developement team?, it's a one man project?
In both cases THANK YOU for your great work and to let us use it for free.
If it's for a free and I can help you, just to say thanks, say it, I'm not a developer I'm just a designer, not much time, but I can do something :o) _________________ Easy is better |

No, he's not. Abyss is developed by Aprelium, which you will see either "aprelium," "aprelium-beta," or "admin" in the username.
Anyway, as for your settings, we need to see a picture of your CGI configuration, and your aliases. Show us that, and I'm sure we can solve this. _________________ Bienvenidos! |
