i was wondering if somebody could help me with my php.ini mail settings. I have an smtp address using http://gawab.com and my php.ini mail settings look like this right now,
[mail function]
; For Win32 only.
SMTP = smtp.gawab.com ; for Win32 only
; For Win32 only.
sendmail_from = truplaya3208112@gawab.com ; for Win32 only
; For Unix only. You may supply arguments as well (default: "sendmail -t -i").
;sendmail_path =
whenever i use a program that trys to use this to email stuff it never works. I dont get an error message either. Gawabs servers use authentication if that makes a difference. what am i doing wrong and or forgetting. Please help. Ty in advanced _________________

Yes, that does make a difference. The script you use needs to have a place to configure it with authentication, or else it won't work. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

It is in the actual script. Sadly, the php.ini file does not support direct server authentication, so it depends on the script to add the authentication into the process. _________________ Bienvenidos! |
