Thanks for those who helped.

But check out my web sites now. There should not be a problem getting to them now.

www.takeoff.to/gonepostal

and

www.takeoff.to/freeporn

but if for some reason those do not work use these.

http://66.190.221.30:81/index.html

and

http://66.190.221.30:81/freeporn,html

Both sites are hosted on Abyss.

Design is not the greatest. But it is just a start.

Thanks

Gonepostal has Gonepostal!!!!

should work in netscape and IE. I made the dot into a box. Check it now and see if you can see it. And was there squares following your mouse poiter araound?

If that page still does not work let me know and I will try another way. Also if you are not able to link to the next page from that page use the link below and let me know if it works. The page should have a checker board on it and the links should fall onto the checker board. The links are not linking anywhere yet. I am just trying some new stuff. To try and make my site better.

I have had alot of complaints about the way it looks. If evrey one please give time. It will be better. I am very new to web building.

Almost forgot to add the link to second page:

http://66.190.221.30:81/test.htm

Thanks

Also, Netscape and Mozilla are basically the same thing.

Your scroller doesnt work...
Code:

<marquee align="middle" behavior="alternate" style="color: #FFFF00">Gonepostal's
Mall On The Web</marquee>

shows up like this on netscape/mozilla

its quite annoying seeing every so while crunched up yellow text 1 pixel length, maybe get a Javascript instead of marquee, or specific a length...

Ok. It would appear that I must have no idea what the heck I am doing!!
I do not see the links in the checker board either in your image.

So can someone please try the following it is a sliding menu on the upper left of screen

Foxy is your isp AOL by chance? If so that is probably why nothing works. Cause anybody and everybody I have known that has had AOL say that pretty much that it (not sure how to say it) screws up what they see. And all have left AOL. And all say #$%& AOL.
But if you are not then . I have no clue why these pages do not work for you. The oringinal page worked for Trustpunk.

And whenever I test this stuff in my browser they work. But then again I am just a dumb amateur!

NO I do not have aol, I never have, and never will, the fact is, Im sayin some of your stuff doesnt work in other browsers... as in cross compatbility isnt there, just cuz u and trust use I.e 6...

at anyrate, good luck on the Site making money .....and maybe soon you'll get a nice page layout....and work your problems out,

-Note Marquee now works, seems you specified a length.

maybe for the text box, you can write a simple swf.. flash file

wats with
Code:
Abyss Web Server X1 - Copyright © 2001-2002 Aprelium Technologies - All rights reserved

O.o why did you place this on every single page..... on your site... Im sure "Powered by abyss" or the button will do... Just curious..

No, it doesn't work because I (and Foxified) use Mozilla (as I tried to say in the second post).

It works fine in IE, as TRUSTpunk also mentioned. So it has come down to getting a script that all browsers are compatible with.

I do not believe that Powered by Abyss is on every page. It will just be on the start page. It may be on my test pages because those are start pages or splash pages. As as far as the scripts being compatible with all browser I even left the coments about the menu one the one test page. Because it says it is compadible with all browser except I think some of the older versions. But I am looking for diferent scripts that are compatible with all browsers. just please give me time. But I do appreciate you guys checking them for me. Because of course when I look at the ages through my browser they always work.

And is'nt Mozzila the same as netscape?

But if you look on this page I left the statement by the maker of this script that says it works with most all browsers. That is why I used it. Here is the link that I beleive I have already posted that has the statement on it.

http://66.190.221.30:81/slidingmenu/slidemenupub.htm

Thanks

More of the links should be working now. And glad to see that the slide menu is working on mozzila now. I did go in and chage a few settings as far a conpadability maybe it helped. So far does this look better than my original site.

Oh god... that first link almost made me throw up. Some of the content on it doesn't work with Mozilla anyway.

Am I correct in saying that now Apparel, Jokes, and Games work?

yes the Apparel, Jokes, and Games work. You must be talking about the original.htm? That made you sick.

And foxy are you talking about the new page or the original? And the menu you are talking about is the menu on the new page that opens and closes?

I am working on the games and redoing the apparel page. right now. My goal is to have this finished by the 15 of the month.

I am also about to add a couple of chat rooms.

Yes there is only one menu that slides. But it does not scroll. That is why I wanted to know what you were talking about. And to talk about annoying. Your graphic on your post annoys me. Esspiecally since it links to nothing.

And do you even have a web site?

ok. I have added a bit of content to the start page. It is a story I think people may find very interesting. Also I have added some game downloads.

So I am safe in assuming that you feel the new pages are much better?
