I need to make an EXACT copy of a MySQL database onto a new computer that I bought. Any thoughts? _________________ http://www.200mg.net |

In the MySQL\data directory, copy the database folder to the new MySQL\data directory on the other computer. Or, you can make a backup using phpMyAdmin. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Well, the phpMyAdmin idea didnt work mostly because my server sucks... But copying the directory worked perfecty. As always, thanks for both the answer and the extremely fast response. _________________ http://www.200mg.net |
