Hi,

Yesterday, fed up with apache not working, I downloaded your software. It works marvelous on my PC: installed it and got it up and running in now time (giant leap for me, small step form IT).

Now, I have the following issue:

We have a lan which exists of 5 PC's connected to a hub and one "server" which shares his internet connection (windows2000). Abyssws runs on one of those remaining four clients and it's meant to be a small intranetwebserver.

The problem is that I can access the webserver through it's DNS name (http://dnsname:1000) on every computer, I can access the thing on my own computer through localhost:1000 and 127.0.0.1:1000 but whatever I try to do, it won't work when I use the IP of the computer in the LAN itself: http://192.168.0.2:1000 So whenever I surf to this location on my own computer or the other ones, it won't work... any ideas how come??

Check if there is something on your computer that blocks the port you use (such as a firewall, an anti-hacking software.) In XP such firewalls are available by default so you should deactivate them.
