Hi,
Yesterday, fed up with apache not working, I downloaded your software. It works marvelous on my PC: installed it and got it up and running in now time (giant leap for me, small step form IT).
Now, I have the following issue:
We have a lan which exists of 5 PC's connected to a hub and one "server" which shares his internet connection (windows2000). Abyssws runs on one of those remaining four clients and it's meant to be a small intranetwebserver.
The problem is that I can access the webserver through it's DNS name (http://dnsname:1000) on every computer, I can access the thing on my own computer through localhost:1000 and 127.0.0.1:1000 but whatever I try to do, it won't work when I use the IP of the computer in the LAN itself: http://192.168.0.2:1000 So whenever I surf to this location on my own computer or the other ones, it won't work... any ideas how come?? |

Check if there is something on your computer that blocks the port you use (such as a firewall, an anti-hacking software.) In XP such firewalls are available by default so you should deactivate them. _________________ Support Team
