set your firewall up to forward the port (80) you are using for abyss to you local IP
to get a DNS name www.no-ip.com seems to be the favorite free place |

Or try http://192.168.0.1 (that is the usual for NetGear routers I believe). _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Firewall is off but it stil dosent work.
Somting is usein the port 80 (I dont have any other servers runing)
so i trid port 21 (FTP) but stil nothing i yust get a mesege that the conectinon whith the server cant be estamblised.
I have
-3com OfficeConnect Cable/DSL Gateway
-a ruter intergrated firewall (i disabeld it)
-1Mb/s ADSL conection (My provider dosent block servers)
And my trace software tyal expired it wod be easy finding the problem whith this
the DOS ping comand to my IP was 0 % loss and avrege respond 5 ms
(So it is a true WAN IP)(LAN IPs have a 100 % loss whith tne ping) |

a router with a disbled firewall still needs to know where to send data coming into port 80.
if your computer is saying port 80 is in use then there is some other software using port 80 chaanging ports worked for you, but you should find out what it is thats enabling your information to be sent out 8O
if your using windows XP , it has a built in firewall check you network
settings to disable it. |
