-go to http://192.168.1.1/
-If you haven't changed the name and password
leave the username field empty
the password is admin
-Click on Advanced
-Click the Forwarding tab.
-Add 80 into both fields under Ext. Port
-select tcp
-put in your local IP address (192.169.1.???)
-check enable
-click apply |

|
|
I have been messing around with my network at home for about two weeks now and have configuring everything right. I have been able to access the web service from my home computers.. any of them.. using the actual IP address and no problem. The only outside location I have been able to check it from is school and it doesn't pull up. Is there any reason why I wouldn't be able to access it from outside the network?? port point to the right computer.. so its not that..
Operating System of computer is XP
oh and just to let you know it isn't running on the standard 80 port...
Any help would be appreciated. |
