|
|
Hi guys!
Quick question.
My ISP is blocking port 80 (they have finally admitted to it- just happened over the weekend) It appears that they are blocking 81, 800 and 8080 as well as they dont work!!. Are there alternatives to port 80 that I can use? (without going berserk numbers wise)
And, i use statiicling.org as my DNS forwarding service. Is there another DNS service that is sympathetic to ports other than 80 that members are aware of??
Thanks in advance |

Any number over 1024 and under 65,000 should be fine unless you have something else running on it. Pick one that's easier to remember though... 4321 1234 etc. NoIP and DynDNS both offer a webhop service to allow you to redirect to your site without having to remember to include port numbers. |
