People can connect to my website (I use dyndns.org to forward my IP) but when I tryed changing ports to lets say 6050, and I forward the right port in linksys, but the problem is that when I type in the url, it pops up the linksys login screen, so the only way that I could use it is if I use the def port, or even when its not forwarded i get that login screen, its kinda anoying since I dont know if its me or other people that can see it also and also I need to use port 80

Did you change the port in Abyss (from 80 to 6050) and typed it also after the address in browser (ie http://yoursite.dyndns.xxx:6050)? Also you could change the default port of your router.

PS! The router should allow only access from internal netword to it's login screen, in other words you shouldn't worry about someone breaking into your router :)

What model do you exactly have?

Just a thought, but most (all?) routers which let can "log into" them should allow the change of default port.

Hmmm... the only port changing option that's mentioned in your routers manual is (after logging in and choosing) Management=>Remote Administration=>Enabled + set the new port. I don't know if that just adds another logging possibility (ie the standard local http://192.168.1.1:80 and the new http.//externalIP:newport) or does it completelly replace the local access (ie http://192.168.1.1:80 would give "no page found" error). If the later is the case then you should be done, as those accessing from outside should now see your WWW server (Abyss).

NB! Enabling Remote Adminstration means that your router will be accessible from *outside*, so choose a *good* username and passphrase to avoid the possible hacking of your router!
