Anyone help
I have just reconfigured my hard drive and had to set all my software again.
I use Abyss on Window XP to test PHP based sites.
I have set the server up as before but when using my HomeSite editor I can preview PHP pages but .html pages give me a 404.
MIME setting are OK
Any ideas - bound to be something simple I've over looked.
Thanks |

sagegreen,
Are you sure that the html pages are inside the documents path? (usually /htdocs)?
Error 404 means that the server cannot locate the file you are referring to. _________________ Support Team

Hi,
I've got the same problem as sagegreen after upgrading to the newest version of abyss.
pages with php or perl scripts shows up as they should but if I try to load .html pages they will only give me a 404
The MIME setting for htm and html is text/html
Here's a pic from the SGI Parameters

sagegreen,
Can you please send us your abyss.conf file to support@aprelium.com and tell us where your files are located (full path of the directory). _________________ Support Team

Hi,
This is indeed a strange problem, so I've sent my abyss.conf and a few pics to support@aprelium.com in order for you to see what could be wrong. |

The problem got solved by upgrading the Abyss webserver from v1.2.0 to v1.2.1.0
So now everything works again :D |
