Hi, I use my abyss server for a server with a lot of space thing now... I whana now if I can see who is downloading drom the server and if I can kick them.. also can I see the most downloaded files? Something like.. the most clicked or.. pls help |

Hi cs-land--
I can't answer about how to deny access to your server from an ip address. If you are running ASW on your pc, you might be able to use your firewall settings to accomplish that???
Anyway, as to the other part of your question, you can't actually know "who" someone "is" beyond the normal...ip address, possibly referring url, possibly what documents they visited. There is a .pl/.cgi script I really like called AXS Visitor Tracking System here:

It has the option to track file downloads: images, links followed, etc.
Check it out if it sounds interesting or if it might suit your needs.

I couldn't manage to install taht script.. I didn't used cgi scripts until now. The install tutorials is kind of unfrendly.. can anyone tell me how? :oops: |
