I just installed windows installer exe php and read the warning that this program, as is, is not [safe] for production use.
Is it safe to run php on the windows Abyss Server (or any other server)? If not, what security measures need to be taken. |

PHP versions that are suitable for "production" use are marked with the word "Stable". The latest stable PHP version is 4.3.3 (http://www.php.net/get/php-4.3.3-installer.exe/from/a/mirror). The version you've downloaded is likely to be a test version.
