LOL, even though you guys don't support the forum itself, thats what this
forum is based on so I have a Q on how to set it up...
I use Abyss Web Server. I have installed ActivePHP successfully and
followed the instructions on how to set it up. For me to completely install
PHPBB I have to go to this address:
http://blahwhatever.blah.com:9067/cgi-bin/phpbb2/index.php
Then it shows me this screen that asks me for information on my database.
I've tryed entering a bunch of stuff, but afterwards it just says php error
can't access database(?) what the hell do i do?

i hav the same thing on my site
umm.....
all u need is mysql, or one of the other alternatives that they have listed.
the program for the database has to be running in order for you to access the database
n PHPbb requires a database thats already made
i forgot how to do that so u gotta check it out 4 your self

thanks i downloaded mysql i got it working thanks a bazjillion
now if i could only get it to work with the chat program i want to run...
