I have just installed the server and I can access the default page just fine on the PC that is running the server, but if i try to access the page either by http://localhost/index.html or http://127.0.0.1/index.html or even http://localhost:80/index.html
I get "this page can not be displayed"
I can ping it just fine but not display it :-(
any ideas
P.S. all machines are running either XP or ME (LAPTOP) linked thru a speedstream router/AP
thanx jah |

You don't need to add the "index.html" part to localhost.
That only works with external IP addresses. |

i had this problem...
rather than connecting thru 127.0.0.1 (localhost),
use the IP of the computer running the webserver. |
