Ok, I ran as root and that solves the problem. GOOD CALL!

Now all I have to do is worry about security. I did a su root and then executed with the -r option. I hope that does it.

Any comments ...

I don't use Linux (and haven't in a long time), but I remember being told that only the root account could use ports <= 1024. I could be wrong.

Port 80 is most likely because Apache is running, something some linux distros do by default. Find it and disable it.

I have a site with over 250 directories. I need ONE to be directory index listing allowed. The rest should either error or have in index file in them. Is there a way to do this?
