sprocketme2 - Did you ever get Abyss working?

I've got mine installed on XP, manual start and it works great - as long as I remember to click on the Abyss icon on my desktop to start the webserver ...

Now, does that mean that I can unblock Abyss in my firewall? Is there any reason to unblock it?

Thanks for your help. I do have my firewall turned on. Just wanted to make sure that was all I needed. Guess I'm just a bit paranoid.

No link because I am using the Abyss server in a development environment only. It is not used at my hosting service provider. Abyss works great even on my old laptop running Windows ME with only 64k!
