You'll need to make sure it is allowed to act as a server in Zonealarm and forward port 21 to your PC if you have a router.

You and people on your network can only go to your site using your local IP, and you main IP. (local is gunna be like 192.168.1.7, and your main is gunna 4.765.90.23) |

its still timing out...server running on port 1080(please suggest better port) and router is forwarding that port, and ZoneAlarm And Norton are off.

I turned all of my router firewalls off, and enabled poet forwarding for port 80. I will try diabling ZoneAlarm. |
