I have MySql set up and I have a database set up with Myphpmyadmin named nuke, If that is what you are saying.

this maybe a stupid question. But did you make sure your password and user name was correct in the config.ini . I mean matches the one you put in phpmyadmin.

Well I tried to use My SQL and could not get it to work. And yes I get the same 5 second "append an sid" . I installed My SQL 4 could not get it to work. MS access was the one I could get to work.
