I would suggest phoning microsoft support to request a new serial number. I had the same problem with my machine, and after I explained what happened they were happy to supply me with a new serial.

Ok, when attempting to run AHTML.exe

Via the cmd window,

By typing C:\selisoft\ActiveHTML\ahtml.exe
