If your connecting to localhost itll be lighting fast. Regardless of what connection you have. Proof? I have dail-up and I always use 127.0.0.1 to work on my site. Goes lighting fast. =).

Make sure the phpmyadmin alias is correct also if its not in the htdocs.

Apache has NO forums.

As im not aware of an official index for an apache forum (http server) but I've seen many support forums allong the way.

Make sure the modified doc path is correct, to make sure, place an index.html file in Abyss Web Server/htdocs/ folder and see if it works.

You shouldn't pay for any script unless you have to (Example; IPB Forums - Forum Script (PHP)). Make sure you instlaled ASP correctly :)

Download time is slower, response time is ok though.

Well lets start with the obviouse, 404 (Not Found) is the error when the file isn't there. If you used an alias check that, and if you just plainly put it in htdocs, just type the folder name :) make ...

On a dialup it has a sluggish response time, or decent at best :P, but yet tolerable. :)

Maek sure user and pass are correct, as well as host and port.

Check your host, user, and pass for the db. And make sure privileges are set for the user.

Sounds just like slow response time and you time out occasionaly half way through loading.

"views" shouldn't be auto_increment. It should be update with the update syntax as such, on, "view_topic.php", query....

You put your files in the htdocs folder, and your IP address is the url to your site.
