Open your php.ini file with notepad, ifnd the rule SMTP server (or at least something with SMTP in it :P) then change that rule to your pop3 server, like pop3.shithost.com or something. Then the rule ...

GD is never working, you should open your php.ini file and look for

;php_gd.dll (or something like that)

then remove the ; in front of that rule. It works then :-)

U sure you directed the right ip to that addy?

I don´t know the exact settings, but you can click "properties" and then there are some boxes at the bottum, select read only and.. ermm, well test some stuff, i don´t know it exactly :oops:

I have no idea, i havn´t programmed Abyss. Think it´s soem kind of bug in the abyss-php connection thing or something ?

i know what you mean, if you downloaded this script from somewhere else it´s better t:

ór download an older version of php and intall that one.
ór go to php.net and read the changed added to php 4 ...

In the new php variables are adjusted

No that´s not totally true, evreybody thinks you have to pay for subdomains, you can use an index script too. The prob is thatit doesnt seem to work with an ip addy

Some one at the forum had a great FTP hos tprogram, i really auggest you try that one. Just search a bit on these forums.

If you don´t want FTP support because it´s too open, you might try making a ...

cookies are fine in the standard .ini files. It´s your browser

to protect dir´s you need htaccess and htpassword files. Don´t ask me howto do that, i always steel the files :oops:

when u install php and you want to proram in php, use php codes :P they always start with <? or <?php

<% and %> is for asp, don´t use them for php

for the information: abyss IS a webhost, so whenever you got abyss on and you are conected to the internet, everybod yin the world can access your site(or there has to be nothibg on it or you have to ...

this is not abyss´ bug/mistake, it´s in mysql, click your stosign in the tasbar (twhich should be on green) and see what ur pass and username is there,, :-)
